NW Bicester eco-town wins new sustainability award

Residential property group A2Dominion, which is the lead developer for the first phase of NW Bicester, were presented with the CEEQUAL Excellent Award on 8 August by Ian Nicholson, CEEQUAL Director and Local Cllr Lynn Pratt, Lead member for economy, regeneration and property at Cherwell District Council

The highest possible award was given following an assessment by CEEQUAL again specific civil engineering standards, where Elmsbrook achieved a score of 81% and 'Excellent' overall. 

NW Bicester is providing 393 highly efficient homes for existing and new residents of Bicester, built to be true zero-carbon.

Developed in 2003 by the Institution of Civil Engineer's Research & Development Enabling Fund, CEEQUAL assesses and recognizes projects that makes significant improvements to sustainability in civil engineering, infrastructure and landscaping.

NW Bicester is providing 393 highly efficient homes for existing and new residents of Bicester, built to be true zero-carbon. The design fosters a community that is vibrant, resilient and sustainable, and incorporates a school, district heating network and business centre.
